This project is a study in the art of transformation, breathing new life into a traditional Southern California sideyard. By reimagining an existing garage, we turned a purely functional structure into an easy, light-filled "SoCal" living space. What was once a place for storage is now an intentional dwelling that proves how thoughtful design can elevate even the most modest footprint.

The layout maximizes the original volume of the garage to create a sense of height and openness that feels native to its sun-drenched setting. It is an adaptive reuse project that values efficiency without sacrificing soul, offering a modern sanctuary that blends seamlessly into the quiet rhythm of the neighborhood.
